For those of you who love butterhead lettuce and nothing else, this is for you!! We've got multiple varieties of buttery butterheads (trying saying that 10x fast). Colors range from light green to dark red. All will make good, dense heads suitable for salads, sandwiches, lettuce wraps, burgers, etc. Can also be cultivated and harvested for baby mixes if that’s your thing.
Lettuce thrives in partial to full sun and in fertile, well-draining soil. Afternoon shade relief is appreciated during the peak of summer - we like to plant our lettuce next to friends that are a little taller so they do the work for us. Great for containers!
