Oregano, White Flowered Greek
Oregano, White Flowered Greek
A must have for the perennial herb garden! We love the white flowered greek oregano with its pungent, flavorful leaves. Some say this is the best strain for culinary use. It's best used straight from the garden but honestly, it's also delicious dried.
A few reasons we love growing oregano: it's drought tolerant, attracts beneficial insects, mega medicinal properties (immunity booster, powerful anti-fungal properties), its just an all around rockstar!
Young plants tend to grow a little slow at first (like a lot of perennials), but a good hot spell will encourage strong growth. These hardy plants top out at 12-18" and thrive in full sun with good drainage. Very easy to grow - and, they come back every season, bigger and stronger than the previous year! Great for containers.
