Varico 2 can grow up to a 2' by 2' bush in 365 days...from seed. For a perennial herb, that's highly unusual. So if you're not super patient and love thyme, this thyme variety is for you!
Thyme is a staple herb of chefs. This strain is a modern selection of English/German/Winter thyme - it's far superior in aromatics to common thyme. There's just something to be said for having fresh herbs from the garden in the middle of winter (or any time of the year)! Aso very useful as a medicinal herb, its great for the respiratory system.
Originally from the Mediterranean area, this herb is drought-friendly - it thrives on full sun, heat and neglect, once established. Grows up to 12". Pruning your thyme after flowering encourages growth and prevents it from becoming woody. Thyme is great for containers, borders, wherever you need it!
