Hot Pepper, Magnum Habanero
Hot Pepper, Magnum Habanero
Magnum equates to a larger size than "usual". That's probably not the dictionary version, but it's our version.
'Magnum Habanero' is a beautiful, vigorous plant that is tall and multi branched, yielding a profusion of 2-3" long bonnet shaped bright orange peppers. An improved early maturing variety. Very productive, with each plant producing up to 100 fruits (this is where the magnum comes from)! Takes time to mature so plant early as possible and protect from cold and frost.
Exceptionally hot with a a Scoville Heat Units rating of 100,000-350,000 SHU.
Growing Tip: Use a high phosphorus starter fertilizer when transplanting to give young peppers a good start. Keep nitrogen levels in moderation, as high amounts can reduce yields.
