The Etiuda looks like a "traditional" bell pepper except that she's a little bit smaller, and a whole lot sweeter.  When you let her mature, she rewards you with a vivid, bright orange coloring.  Produces tons of blocky, thick-walled fruit throughout the season. The flavor is sweet like candy when fully ripe and even the under-ripe (ahem, green) is said to be sweeter than most.

Etiuda is an open pollinated variety that was developed in Poland.  Generally we don't stake our bell peppers, but this variety can get pretty big and heavy so we'd recommend some sort of support.  Plants grow 18 - 24" in height.  And, if you haven't noticed our love of purple and orange combinations in the garden, we LOVE this planted next to Dark Opal Purple Basil!!!

Easy to grow!  Thrives in full sun and well-draining, fertile soil.  Great for containers.

  • Days to Maturity: 70 - 80
  • Companion Plants: Basil, Beans, Borage, Cilantro, Sunflowers, Tomatoes, Zinnias
  • Open-Pollinated (OP)
  • Plant Spacing: 12 - 18"
