Lettuce, Marvel of Four Seasons 6pk

Say hello to Jess' all-time favorite lettuce to grow.  The leaves are buttery and delicate, not to mention it just looks delectable amongst the veggies and herbs in the garden.  

Both tasty and attractive, this 1800's French heirloom also known as Merveille de Quatre Saisons has tender, sweet leaves that are green at the base, turning to a beautiful cranberry-red, and forming a crinkly rosette that almost looks like a flower! 
Fun fact, the leaves change colors based on the weather.  So if you grew this in the spring/summer, you should totally grow it in the fall/winter so you can see the change in colors!! :) 

Rosettes are 8"–12" in diameter, great for containers.  Lettuce thrives in partial to full sun and in fertile, well-draining soil.  Afternoon shade relief is appreciated during the peak of summer - we like to plant our lettuce next to friends that are a little taller so they do the work for us.
