Cilantro, Pokey Joe
Cilantro, Pokey Joe
This strain is reputed to be the best tasting cilantro out of an extensive Oregon trial and is also very slow to bolt. We 100% agree - it is awesome!! Our favorite cilantro by FAR. Attracts beneficial insects if allowed to bloom.
Fun fact: Did you know that cilantro and coriander are the same plant? In the US, we refer to the fresh leaves as cilantro and the dried seed as coriander.
Plants grow 12-18" tall. Thrives in cooler weather, but if you plant it next to taller crops and mulch the soil, it will receive that afternoon shade & retain its soil moisture so it can thrive in the summer too! Great for containers!
