One of the many things we love about the Marta Polka bell pepper is that she's really well suited for regions with cool summers.  And as much as we love our hot summers, we don't always get them consistently (we're looking at you, 2024).  This heirloom Polish variety is super productive early in the season.  She also looks stunning next to some purple basil.

Plants are compact and have a bushy habit, not generally needing any staking.  The flesh is thick, mild and sweet flavored.  Harvest at any stage, she ripens from green to golden yellow and has a thick-walled flesh that's sweet and everything we love in a bell pepper!!

Peppers thrive in full sun and well-draining, fertile soil.  Mulching is recommended to retain soil moisture.  Great for containers!
